Tajmahal in Bengladesh!

The replica of the Tajmahal (which is located in India) is located 10 miles east of Sonargaon. Ahsanullah Moni, a wealthy Bangladeshi film-maker, announced his ‘Copycat version of Tajmahal’ project in December 2008. It took only five years to construct the copy of Tajmahal, as Mr.Moni Used latest technology to construct it. As per Mr. Moni’s declaration, he used the same marble stones which is used in the original Tajmahal. The project was built to the northeast of Capital Dhaka. This caused complaints from Indian officials that copying Historical Monument is Illegal. Founder explained that he built this replica of the Tajmahal so that the poor people of his nation can fulfill their dream of seeing neighboring India’s famed monument.

History and description of the original Tajmahal

Momtaz Mahal was the beloved wife of the emperor Shah Jahan. Unfortunately, during the delivery of child, she died in 1630 at Baharampur. After spending months mourning her death, the emperor ordered for an excellent memorial to make her wife’s name unforgettable and everlasting.

When 'Taj Bibi Ka Raozza' was completed, the body of the Mamtaz Mahal was raised from Baharampur and buried again in the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is a flower of mughal art and a great and brilliant insight into the warmth of love between each other and the deep affection of the husband towards the spouse. Where the greatest art craft of man is remarkable, scientific thought, high class architecture and more beautiful designs appear. Visitors feel hypnotic when they see them. Everyone is openly recognizing Taj Mahal as one of the seven wonders of the world for it’s connection with beauty, charming gorgeous expression, wonderful combination of design and artistic relationship.
The Taj Mahal was designed by the Persian architect Ustad Isa.

If any foreign visitor is visiting Bangladesh, I recommend him to visit the Banglar Tajmahal to compare.
